That way the kingdom gives you protection and lets you keep a village and a free fortress. Then if you dont want to worry about an entire kingdom attacking you every turn, use one of your companions as the minister and send another companion as an emissary to another kingdom that is at peace with the one you attack.
SO If you have at least 3 engineer you can conquer any castle with 120-150 enemies on the lowest difficulty. make a ton of money and keep focusing on leadership to get at least 10, so that you can have an army of at least 100 and make sure you buy mainly mercenaries. Selling items at different cities can make you 5000 or more per week and its a good way to find every tournament to make bets in.

It doesnt matter how strong you are if you have a ton of numbers, plus you can start working on merching right away. I recomend focusing on charisma and leadership as much as possible and starting off as a noble so you can lead at least 40-50 men starting with 150 renown. You basically just need to keep sending recruits to their deaths, promoting the survivors, and then having the promoted units stand ground out of harms way until you've built up a decent core of them, and then starting the process over. Once you get a core of strong units though, you can usually win most battles. Building up your medical skills can increase troop survivability (or finding Jeremus, who already starts with a decent spread of medical skills, just make sure to have him hold ground in an out of the way place away from combat). Getting some companions helps a little, since they can't die, but they're randomly placed. If you approch them in the field, they'll usually attack you.) (usually only costs 300 or so denar for 1 village worth of bad rep, which is chump change compared to what you probably made)
(grab everything of value, sell it, pay off a noble from that nation (find one in a town, and then choose seek an audience and ask to make peace. If you grossly outnumber the defenders they'll give up without a fight, and you can usually raid 1 village without pissing off a nation too much. If all else fails.just get about 30-40 raw recruits and raid villages. You can usually buy cheap silk from the villages around Rivacheg, which you can then sell to Veluca or cities around there for a pretty decent profit. I mean, you could try some youtube videos to at least point you in the right direction, but at the end of the day, it's gonna end up being your own personal initiative and practice. M&B is very much a skill based game, so getting better yourself is really all you can do. If you haven't touched the difficulty yet, it defaults to the lowest possible one.
